An investment of one million Euro in Tire plant
| Mondi Tire Kutsan, one of the leading corrugated packaging suppliers in Turkey, has launched a six colour printing unit by investing one million Euro in new machinery for its Tire plant. The new machinery will allow Tire plant to expand its product portfolio and increase the production capacity. Mondi Tire Kutsan, which is one of the leading corrugated packaging suppliers in Turkey, became part of Mondi’s Europe & International (E&I) Division in 2007 and was renamed to Mondi Tire Kutsan in April this year. Haluk Kaya, CEO of Mondi Tire Kutsan, comments: “This investment is part of Mondi’s ongoing project to boost efficiency and modernise our corrugated plants. This one million Euro investment in a new machine will allow us to proactively meet the ever changing needs of our customers and help to strengthen Mondi’s market position. We will contribute more to the sales and marketing of our customer’s shelf ready products as well as to an higher brand and product awareness with better printing quality.” A new investment for modernization with the six colour printing unit The system has a dryer, sheet dust collector system and an auto sheet feeder unit (Pre-Feeder) in all printing units and offers delicate print with high grade anilox rollers. With the launch of this new system, Mondi Tire Kutsan aims to increase the quality of the service for the customers, through the capability of printing to all types of waves (E, B, C, EB and BC) and the specialties of UV Lack printing with UV dryer unit. The Tire plant operates for the food, beverages, fresh fruit &vegetables, durable consumption goods, tobacco and cigarette markets with 300 employers and holds the certificates of ‘ISO 9001’ and ‘Registration Certificate for Food Contact Materials’.
