Andrew Tinkler back in for Eddie Stobart

Andrew Tinkler, the former chief executive at Stobart Group, is seeking to – via his company TVFC 3 – acquire the entire share capital of Eddie Stobart Logistics.

Eddie Stobart Logistics confirmed the preliminary expression of interest and said that there could be no certainty either that an offer will be made nor as to the terms of any offer.

It comes after confirmation of a similar expression in a buy-out from international asset management firm DBAY Advisors.

Eddie Stobart Logistics has also warned it expected to make a profit of £10 million to £11 million on turnover of £450 million in the first half of the year.
