Another successful year for European carrier LKW Walter

Austria headquartered LKW Walter group maintains its position as one of the leading service providers in European full load transport

Wiener Neudorf-based LKW Walter Internationale Transportorganisation AG has generated sales revenue of EUR 1.63 billion in the 2013/14 financial year. This is a 4.3 per cent increase year-on-year. Also the results of normal business activity rose – by 3.8 per cent to EUR 68.2 million. These are figures were reported by the news service NÖ Wirtschaftspressedienst and can be found in the company’s recently published balance sheet.

With nearly 1,500 employees, LKW Walter Internationale Transportorganisation AG handles more than a million of full truck loads per year. The privately-owned forwarder is a company the Walter Group, which also includes the Walter Business Park in the industrial centre Industriezentrum NÖ-Süd in Wiener Neudorf, the Container-Handelsgesellschaft Containex as well as the companies Walter Lager-Betriebe, Walter Leasing, Walter Immobilien and Containex Immobilien.

LKW Walter’s core business is the organisation of full truck loads by road and in combined transport throughout Europe and to/from Russia, Central Asia, the Middle East and North Africa.
