CIMC IT, key founder of the “Global Smart Container Alliance” GSCA, invited ASTO to be a founding member of this Alliance. The GSCA will be established on August 15th in Shenzhen, China. GSCA will combine the knowledge and information from component and system suppliers, together with the leading shipping operators of the world to transmit data over GSM networks, as well as through satellite communication.

Containers, the largest number of transport tools in the world, are responsible for more than 80% of global trade goods transportation. With the emerging of mobile Internet, artificial intelligence and shared economy surging today, we will work together with CIMC IT to make containers intelligent. The intelligent container, operated with an ASTO aJour Telematics System, is one of the main pillars of the logistic industry 4.0 revolution.
