Aston Clinton warehouse scheme reached PC

Logistics development specialist Tritax Symmetry has completed the first phase of construction at Symmetry Park, Aston Clinton in Aylesbury.

Three high-quality units comprising 56,034 sq ft, 83,831 sq ft and 112,148 sq ft have been built speculatively by A&H Construction.

Tritax Symmetry secured a pre-let during construction for the 83,831 sq ft unit to catering and hospitality logistics company Global Infusion Group (GIG) on a 15-year lease last year to consolidate its operations from Watford and Chesham under one roof.

Located alongside the A41 17 minutes from Junction 20 of the M25 Motorway, the Aston Clinton site totals 700,000 sq ft on over 46 acres. Tritax Symmetry gained detailed planning for five buildings ranging from 55,000 sq ft to 212,000 sq ft in February 2017.

Phase two, comprises 18 acres with detailed planning consent already secured and can accommodate up to 450,000 sq ft of warehouse space.

John Madocks-Wright of Savills said: “With an acute lack of supply of high quality ‘ready-to-go’ facilities available in the area, Symmetry Park, Aston Clinton is high on the list of many potential occupiers looking to expand their operations or relocate.”
Savills and Brasier Freeth are the joint acting agents for the scheme, with space available on a leasehold or freehold basis.
