AVE-Logistic starts new ferry link to the Baltic States
Since recently the ferry shipping company AVE-Logistic operates a ferry service between Lübeck-Travemünde and Liepaja, Latvia, with three weekly departures. The ferry operations start their journey from Lübeck to Latvia every Monday at 2 p.m., and on Wednesdays and Fridays at 11p.m. AVE-Logistic, headquartered in Riga, deploys the „AVE Liepaja“ on the new route. Built in 1999, the RoPax-vessel has a length of 179 metres, and offers 2,000 loading metres for trucks and cars at each departure. The AVE Logistic agency in Lübeck moved to an office in the port-house at the Scandinavia Quay. Mr. Rihards Akmentins is holding the function as General Manager.
