What made Severn Trent the overall winner in the Supply Chain Excellence Awards 2017?
Chris Wand, head of supply chain & logistics at Severn Trent, will explore the different strategies that were used to create a better working environment for the public and third sectors and how this improved efficiencies working within all departments of the organisation.
Fashion retailer FatFace won the Warehouse Initiative category in the 2017 Supply Chain Excellence Awards with the creation of a customer-focused distribution centre.
In his presentation at the Conference, senior operations manager Stephen Webb will look at the benefits of changes in the warehouse which has helped FatFace grow 20+ different channels and to double its turnover.
The winner of the Supply Chain Strategy and Design category, London Ambulance Service NHS Trust will also be speaking at the conference.
Justin Wand, deputy director – fleet & logistics, London Ambulance Service NHS Trust, will discuss the ways in which the service has been successful, and how to improve your supply chain strategy and efficiencies.
The Supply Chain Operations category was won by innocent drinks. Lucy Barks, head of contract manufacturing at innocent, will explain how the company approaches supply chain to drive growth as well as ensuring it has a fully engaged workforce. She will discuss how the strategy improves service and widens business opportunities.
