Bailey Named Chief Strategy Officer of Yusen Logistics (Americas) Inc.

Yusen Logistics (Americas), a global third-party (3PL) logistics provider, has promoted Adriene Bailey to Chief Strategy Officer. She will have responsibility for the overall strategy of the company’s Americas Region, including M&A and Business Development initiatives.

Adriene B. Bailey has been promoted to Chief Strategy Officer at Yusen Logistics (Americas) Inc. and will report directly to Kunihiko Miyoshi, president and CEO. She will be based at the company’s headquarters in Secaucus, NJ, and have responsibility for the overall strategy of the Americas Region, including M&A and Business Development initiatives. She will also serve as a member of the company’s Board of Directors.

“We value Adriene’s extensive knowledge and experience in the industry,” says Miyoshi. “We are confident that she will add great value to the management team as we develop our strategy going forward.”

Bailey joined Yusen Logistics in 2011 and most recently served as Vice President, Strategic Business Development. Her transportation and logistics industry experience spans more than 25 years with well-established organizations in the rail, intermodal and management consulting sectors. Bailey currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors for Denver University’s Intermodal Transportation Institute (ITI), is a member of the Board of Directors for the Intermodal Association of North America (IANA) where she was recently elected Vice Chair, and serves on the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta’s Economic Advisory Council.
