Beck & Pollitzer completes machine relocation and installation project for automotive manufacturer in France

Beck & Pollitzer France has completed a project for a ‘multinational automotive manufacturer’, relocating and reinstalling equipment and machines for the production of Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicles (MHEVs).

The project began with ‘the electrical and machinal dismantling of equipment such as fences, sealer pumps, welding cabinets, controller cabinets, cable trays, robot pedestals, robots, track motions, grippers, guns, fixtures, turntables, and hammer stations’.

After this, focus turned to ‘reinstallation, drilling and fixing the floor plates, labelling, [and]removal and reconnection of hoses’.

13 operatives spent 2,100 hours to get the project completed on time and to the client’s satisfaction. Beck & Pollitzer says that it ‘provided strong and experienced project management, site supervision, and Quality, Health and Safety supervision’.
