Bidvest renews lease at Cabot Park

Bidvest Logistics has taken a new lease on its existing warehouse DC115 at Prologis Cabot Park in Bristol.

The company, which runs a contract for Arla from the site, originally secured occupation via a sublease in 2013 after the property was vacated by Culina.

The facility totalling 116,034 sq ft on a 7.32 acre site has 10.27m eaves, 10 dock and four level access doors, 114 car parking and 37 HGV parking spaces as well as 11,388 sq ft of two storey offices.

“Prologis Cabot Park is an ideal location for many of our customers and we are delighted that we have been able to guarantee our future at Avonmouth,” said Shaun Foley, managing director of Bidvest Logistics UK.

“The building gives us the capacity to develop our operations and it represents a significant investment in the continuing success of our business.”

Prologis Cabot Park is two miles from Junction 18/18a of the M5/M49 and 10 miles from the M4/M5 interchange.

“We are delighted that Bidvest Logistics has chosen to stay in the building and that we have been able to agree a new lease so that the company can continue its operations without any disruption,” said Andrew Griffiths, managing director of Prologis UK.

“All our buildings are designed and constructed to very high quality standards, which means that we can offer minimal downtime between tenancies. ”

Savills acted for the landlord Prologis while Lambert Smith Hampton advised Bidvest.

Culina originally took a five year lease on the building in 2009 at £6 per sq ft. The company vacated the building in 2013 for 212,000 sq ft of space at Crossflow 550 opposite.
