Bolloré Logistics creates Covid-19 taskforce to deliver vaccine

Bolloré Logistics has said that it is designing logistics operations for the distribution of a Covid-19 vaccine.

The vaccine will need to be transported at varying temperatures, such as +2°C, +8°C, and -70°C, and as such, Bolloré Logistics is preparing for all possible temperature scenarios. Bolloré said it would rely on its own capacity, as well as that of existing subcontractors, to transport the vaccines by air cold chain.

Olivier Boccara, Global Chief Commercial Officer at Bolloré Logistics said: “We are ready to fully play our role in the global distribution of the future vaccines alongside all the players concerned, particularly pharmaceutical laboratories and international organisations.”
