‘Brand integration’ with Augustin Quehenberger Group

Integration of the entire organisation of Augustin Quehenberger Group results in introduction of the sole brand Quehenberger Logistics

The Augustin Quehenberger Group unifies its market appearance. As of July the enterprise will act exclusively under the brand name Quehenberger Logistics and give up the brand name Augustin Network. From now on the Augustin vehicle fleet will act as an internal transportation management and vehicle fleet service provider. According to the group’s CEO Christian Fürstaller, the integration of the two parts of the company into one logistics group had been successfully completed two years after taking over Quehenberger Logistics. The entire range of services shall be retained.

The Augustin Quehenberger Group first took over and restructured Augustin Network and then Quehenberger Logistics, and has become a dynamic logistics enterprise, establishing a strong position in this industry in Austria and Eastern Europe, with annual turnover of EUR 413 million. "We managed to integrate our organisation faster than we initially planned. Today, we offer one-stop transportation management, groupage freight and contract logistics services at 81 locations. Our processes and products are certified uniformly to international standards, even in Eastern Europe!", Fürstaller explained. That focus on one brand name was the logical consequence of this development.

Augustin Network’s company-owned vehicle fleet will continue to exist. Consisting of around 450 trucks, it will be used for Quehenberger Logistics‘ transportation management in the future. This guarantees the promise to deliver the highest amount of flexibility and quality for times to come. Further innovative vehicle fleet management services are also being planned, according to Fürstaller. Quehenberger Logistics is a medium-sized owner-managed company providing transport management, network and contract logistics services in Central and Eastern Europe, and is based in Strasswalchen near Salzburg. The company presently employs approx. 2,150 people in 81 locations in 17 countries. The management emphasises that the company “runs the leading extensive groupage freight network in Austria”.
