BSH signs CEVA for five years
BSH Bosch and Siemens have signed a five-year partnership with CEVA Logistics for warehousing and distribution in Italy, and the logistics firm has opened a new branch in Hanoi (Vietnam).
CEVA will handle warehousing and kitting, and the reverse logistics flow of BSH products, operating from its 900,000 sq ft warehouse in Pognano (Italy), 250,000 sq ft of which will be allocated to BSH. CEVA will also provide packaging and home delivery.
Mario Franzino, managing director for BSH Italy, said: „By outsourcing our logistics activities to CEVA, we have significantly gained visibility and flexibility in our supply chain. CEVA and BSH share a common appreciation of continuous improvement and partnerships and we are therefore delighted to partner with CEVA.”
The logistics firm has also expanded its presence in South-east Asia, opening a branch office in Hanoi to support the increasing demand for logistics and supply chain support in Vietnam.
