Burhill DCR takes 200,000 sq ft Knowsley shed

Burhill DCR Logistics has taken a ten-year lease on a 200,000 sq ft warehouse at St Modwen’s Moorgate Point Industrial Estate in Knowsley.

Burhill, a joint venture with IDR Steel Logistics, is an independent freight forwarding and warehousing company, focusing on the forestry, food and retail sectors.

Managing director Dave Burhill said: “St. Modwen’s premises at Moorgate Point provide a perfect location for us to grow our business which will create jobs and complement our other sites in Liverpool and Felixstowe.”

St Modwen has invested £2.3m in refurbishing the 30-acre Moorgate Point site, including refurbishment of the 200,000 sq ft warehouse unit, and repairing the 500,000 sq ft of roofs on the industrial and warehouse units on the site.
