Carousel acquires AYS Logistics

Carousel Logistics has acquired AYS Logistics the Solihull-based specialist in in time critical and express deliveries.

As well as express deliveries, AYS provides warehousing, specialist two-man deliveries, and same-day transport.

Graham Martin, CEO at Carousel said: “AYS is complementary to Carousel’s service offerings in the agriculture, renewables and medical device sectors. It will also enhance our By:Night delivery service as part of our growing offering to the aftermarket sector and our field engineer and dealer deliveries. In bringing AYS’s expertise in-house, we will greatly enhance our service offering supported by a like-minded team focused on a transparent and first class service.

Jane Weaver, AYS managing director, will join Carousel in a business development role. She said: “We have worked with Carousel for more than ten years, and during this time we have supported it with its engineer and aftermarket logistic solutions, proving to be a reliable and trusted supplier in their partner network.”
