Central Park building commences

Barwood Capital has accelerated plans at its 12-acre development site at Central Park, Bristol to include a new 137,315 sq ft logistics warehouse on 6.6 acres, Junction One.

The development is currently under construction and is to form part of the new gateway to Central Park. Speculative development of ‘Junction One’ has begun and it is due for completion in Q4 2019.

“We have been pushing forward with our plans to support Central Park’s occupiers and the wider Avonmouth Severnside Enterprise Area,” said Barwood Capital director Andrew Barlow. “The new warehouse will be delivered to a high specification, answering the strong demand from businesses who are looking to expand or locate within this key logistics hub. We are in current discussions with potential occupiers.”

The park will also feature an 81 bed Travelodge hotel, petrol filling station and three drive thrus. The letting agents for Junction One are Knight Frank and Savills, British Ensign is the asset manager and PRC Architects has undertaken the design and planning consultancy.
