CEVA launches cross-border road freight solution in Asia
CEVA Logistics has launched a cross-border road freight solution in South East Asia, providing an integrated, cost effective and seamless service from Singapore through Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam to China. South East Asia is a dynamic market and, as a heavily travelled corridor for freight movements, is a critical link in the supply chains of many global organisations. The solution was developed in response to the needs of customers who have to balance speed and timely shipments throughout South East Asia with a cost-effective and reliable service. As CEVA’s customer base continues to grow throughout South East Asia, the company identified an opportunity to provide this new solution focusing on key trade lanes within the region, as well as value added services like Customs clearance. CEVA expects approximately 72,000 tons to be carried on the cross-border service within the first twelve months, and will be offering FTL and LTL services for maximum flexibility in response and delivery times.
