Chalié Richards & Company signs deal with SEGRO to double warehouse facility

Premium drinks brand wholesaler Chalié Richards & Company has signed a deal with SEGRO to double the size of its warehouse and distribution facility at SEGRO Metropolitan Park in Greenford, West London.

The 319-year-old artisan wine and spirits wholesaler has agreed to a new lease, which will increase its footprint to more than 24,000 sq ft of space at the light industrial development located adjacent to the A40.

Situated next to the A40 and bordered by the Grand Union Canal, SEGRO Metropolitan Park is home to companies including Plumb Center, Hire Station, Eurocell, Millennium Food Services and Panavision.

Alan Holland, business unit director, Greater London, SEGRO, said: “Location, connectivity and access to customers and suppliers are as important for successful trade today as they were when Chalié Richards & Company was formed as a wine merchant over 300 years ago, and SEGRO Metropolitan Park ticks all these boxes.
