Change in management at Imperial Logistics and Imperial Shipping

Carsten Taucke becomes CEO of Imperial Logistics International as of 1 January 2015; Robert Baack temporarily moves to the top of Imperial Shipping

Gerhard Riemann (68) is retiring from active working life as planned, effective on 31 December 2014. As of 1 January 2015, he will hand over his positions as Chairman of the Management Board of Imperial Logistics International B.V. & Co. KG, Duisburg, and as member of the Executive Committee of Imperial Holdings Limited, Edenvale, South Africa to Carsten Taucke (49).

Taucke is currently CEO of the Imperial Shipping Group as well as member of the Management Board of Imperial Logistics International B.V.

& Co. KG. Rüdiger Buß (54), CEO of Imperial subsidiary Panopa Logistik GmbH, will become Deputy Chairman. His duties at Panopa will remain unchanged. The positions of the other Managing Directors of Imperial Logistics International B.V. & Co. KG, Richard Schroeter, Thomas Schulz and Uwe Willhaus, will likewise remain unchanged. Gerhard Riemann will continue to be available until 31 March 2015 in order to ensure a smooth transition.

As of 1 January 2015, Carsten Taucke’s successor in his function as CEO of the Imperial Shipping Group, Duisburg will be Robert Baack (65), currently Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Imperial Shipping Group.

Baack will perform this function temporarily and then hand over responsibility to Uwe Wedig (55) in the course of 2015 as soon as Wedig is released from his contract by his present employer. Henning Bosch (52), currently member of the Management Board of Imperial Shipping Services GmbH, will be the new COO of the Imperial Shipping Group.

KG is responsible for coordination and management of all international logistics business conducted by Imperial Holdings outside Africa.
