CLdN Cargo BV takes over 100 new Profi Liners from Krone

CLdN Cargo (former Cobelfret) to use new piggyback vehicles of Krone mainly for unaccompanied ferry transport

CLdN Cargo BV is expanding and modernising its fleet. 100 Profi Liner Huckepacks of Krone are currently being delivered to the Luxemburg transport and logistics provider. In 2010/2011 the company – named Cobelfret at that time – had already received 250 Krone Profi Liners. The vehicles were mainly used for unaccompanied ferry transport, says Arjan Stolk, Equipment & Operations Manager CLdN Cargo BV.

CLdN Cargo is a company of the CLdN ro-ro SA corporate group. The company offers its customers house-to-house transports across Europe, using its own trailers, containers and vessels in short sea traffic, e.g. from/to the UK, Ireland, Portugal and Scandinavia. In addition they provide forwarding and logistics offers on all transport modes within Europe.

CLdN Cargo’s equipment pool comprises currently about 3,500 45ft.-containers, 900 trailers and 150 refrigerated containers. About 140 employees have lately generated annual turnover of EUR 200 million.
