The logistics company has taken Exeter Property Group’s Sheffield 336 building on Europa Way, Tinsley, on a five-year lease at a rent in excess of £6 per ft2.

The property had formerly housed Royal Mail and was vacated only in February. It is thought the rent paid is in excess of the quoting rent set by joint agents CPP and Knight Frank.

Clipper was looking for a quick deal to be up and running fast for its client. The fully racked and fitted out property boasts 15m eaves, 30 dock and 2 ground level access doors, two storey offices, 51m yard and high bay lighting. It has 24,000 pallet locations and roof and in rack sprinklers with 182 car parking spaces.
