Construction starts on 100,000 sq ft Birmingham site

Construction of a 100,075 sq ft industrial warehouse unit at “Birmingham100” has started.

The facility will be located on a 5.72 acre site on Walsall Road, north of Birmingham City centre. The building will be a single storey warehouse with two storey offices able to of accommodate up to 130 people, 47 HGV trailer parking spaces and 95 car parking spaces.

The site is expected to complete by Q3 of 2017.

Councillor John Clancy, leader of Birmingham City Council, said: “The Birmingham 100 project illustrates the growing confidence and demand in Birmingham’s industrial market. I welcome this latest investment and look forward to working with the future occupier of this scheme as new jobs are created in Perry Barr.”
