Container operator IMS expands customs service

Container operator IMS (Vienna) offers the full range of customs services also at the container terminals in Linz and Enns
 
The customers of the the container operator IMS –Intermove Systems Speditions und Transport GmbH will be able to profit from an enhanced customs service as of now. The company based in Vienna informs that “as per 1 June 2012 the full range of customs services will be offered and arranged by the company’s own customs department at the container terminals in Linz and Enns.“ Since 1998 IMS operates an office at Vienna Freudenau Hafen CCT, for customs procedures of the own-operated train "ACS“ as well as for the handling of other transportations that do not pass Vienna Freudenau CCT.
 
IMS stands for a leading provider of services in the segment of container operating in Austria. In 2011 the private enterprise handled about 145,000 TEU. In addition they handled around 14,000 TEU by train management on behalf of other combined transport operators. Their consolidated turnover amounted to about EUR 45 million.
