DB Schenker Logistics announces new Board members

DB Schenker Logistics has announced that after nearly 40 years with the company Michael Korn, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Schenker Deutschland AG, has entered retirement. He was responsible for air and ocean freight, trade fair business, special transports, as well as logistics for major sports events.

His tasks will now be transferred to two new Board members. Jochen Müller, previously head of the national company Schenker Limited in the UK, will take on responsibility for air freight, trade fairs, special transports, and sports events. Thomas Hauck, who is based in Beijing and manages DB Schenker Logistics in North China, will take over responsibility for ocean freight and project business.

"I’m very pleased that we are able to fill these crucial Board positions internally, with internationally experienced colleagues," says Thomas C. Lieb, Chairman of the Management Board of Schenker AG and Head of the DB Schenker Logistics Business Unit within Deutsche Bahn’s Transportation and Logistics Division.
