Delamode parent raises £5m on AIM

Xpediator, parent company of freight forwarder Delamode, has joined the AIM market raising some £5 million.

Delamode was established in 1988 by Stephen Blyth, the group’s chief executive officer, providing freight forwarding services. It employs more than 600 people with operational headquarters in Braintree, Essex, and country offices in Bulgaria, Lithuania, Estonia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Moldova, Romania and Serbia.

It now has three main business areas:

* Freight forwarding services, trading under the Delamode brand.

* Logistics and warehousing with distribution hubs in the UK and southern Europe.

* Transport services, which trade under the Affinity brand.
