Dettendorfer forwarding erects new logistics hall in Kiefersfelden

New building in Kiefersfelden and Euro 6 trucks give customers of the Dettendorfer forwarding group new options for trans-alpine transport across the Brenner pass

The Dettendorfer forwarding company is expanding their logistics park in Kiefersfelden. In October 2014 the company will start operating a new 3,000 m² hall. After completion the building will have more 4,000 pallet slots – 2,500 high rack and 1,550 in block storage – as well as back ramps and a side ramp for loading and unloading. The warehouse is temperature-controlled, secured by alarms and has video-surveillance.

“Its location close to the Austrian border, and its direct link to the A 93 motorway make this location attractive for all companies organising transalpine transport across the Brenner pass on a regular basis“, says Georg Dettendorfer, managing director. “As of now our fleet comprises a Euro 6 truck. The Iveco as well as the Scania trucks can be driven with bio diesel,“ he adds.

Since the company had been established in 1825, the Dettendorfer group has evolved into an innovative full range provider of forwarding services. The private enterprise headquartered in Nussdorf/Inn offers its customers comprehensive services in the segments of transport, logistics and merchandise management.
