Dettendorfer warehouse in Kiefersfelden now has IFS certificate

Certification according to IFS (International Food Standard) for the brand new logistics warehouse of Dettendorfer freight forwarding in Kiefersfelden (Austria)

The IFS Logistics standard is the auditing of logistics activities for food and non-food products; as well as transportation, storage, distribution, loading and unloading. This standard is applicable to all areas of logistics, for example, delivery by truck, train or ship, and applies to all kinds of products, no matter whether they need to be transported at freezing temperatures, cooled or not cooled.

Since October 2014, Dettendorfer forwarding operates a new facility with 3,000 m² warehouse space at the Kiefersfelden site. The building has 3,000 pallet spaces, backward and side loading bays. It is temperature controlled and has an alarm system and video surveillance.

„Its location right at the border with Austria as well as direct access to the A 93 motorway make this location attractive for all companies that regularly organise transalpine traffic across the Brenner,“ says Georg Dettendorfer, managing director.
