DHL Express opens flagship store in Vienna downtown
DHL Express Austria follows the customers’ request for a location in the citry centre. On 1 December 2017 the company opened a 145 m² flagship store in 1010 Vienna, Opernring 3-5. The opening hours are: Mo – Fr: 9:00 -19:00 and Sa: 10:00 – 18:00.
Ralf Schweighöfer, Country Manager DHL Express Austria: “The new location means bright, modern business premises, excellent public transport connections, a very good location close to Kärntnerstraße and numerous hotels at Ring, and opening times on Saturday, to name only a few advantages for our customers. Our all-in product: Express Easy – Simply fast, simply cheap offers, for example, dispatch processing for hotel guests or direct deliveries of companies in the surrounding area, an easy to reach solution, practically around the corner. “
From the beginning of 2018, the new location will offer CO2-neutral deliveries in the city center with state-of-the-art electric cargo bikes, which will find their charging station and thus their home in the flagship store. The specialist for the international express delivery of parcels and documents for business customers thus supports the group’s own program “GoGreen” with the Mission 2050: zero emissions. By 2025, 70 percent of pick-ups and deliveries will be carried out with clean solutions.
