DHL “seeking clarity” around BHS collapse

DHL and its workers are attempting to seek clarity about the potential impact of the closure of retail chain BHS.

Trade union Unite said it is seeking assurances about the future work prospects for 60 drivers, and 300 warehouse workers, currently employed by DHL to service 163 BHS stores daily.

A DHL spokesperson said:

“We are continuing to talk to the administrators to seek further clarity around the impact of this afternoon’s announcement. It would be premature to comment further at this time.”
