DHL striving to achieve peak position in Industrial Projects

DHL Global Forwarding headed by Nikola Hagleitner to become globally leading forwarder for major industrial projects

DHL Global Forwarding appointed Nikola Hagleitner as the new global head of its sub-division Industrial Projects. As of now she is responsible for the worldwide expansion of DHL’s business in this area and reports directly to Roger Crook, CEO DHL Global Forwarding, Freight. DHL’s goal is becoming the number one project forwarder.

Most recently Nikola Hagleitner has been the Global Head of Business Strategy in DHL Global Forwarding, Freight. In her new position she continues to be a member of the global management board of the business unit. She has extensive experience in country, regional and global project management from her previous career stations with DHL’s Inhouse Consulting and DHL Express.

Industrial Projects is an important business unit for DHL Global Forwarding’s future growth plans. The scope of work within the division typically involves the transportation of heavy lift and regular cargo from ex works to the project location, including import customs clearance and final delivery to job site. Additionally, DHL offers value added services such as route (including lock, rail and bridge) surveys, transportation engineering, special cargo liability insurance and Material Management System (MMS). DHL aims to become the logistics partner of choice for the world’s leading oil & energy companies, EPC contractors, and OEMs through global coverage and proven track record in HSSE and compliance.
