DP World Constanta meets highest security standard
Since recently DP World’s “Constanta South Container Terminal” has a pioneer role. The container handling facility at the Romanian seaport of Constanta is the first operator at the Black Sea to receive a certification according to the ISO 28000:2007 security standard. Thus the location meets the highest supply chain security standards and grants ideal preventive measures for all mechanisms and processes. The ISO 28000:2007 standard is currently met by 21 locations of the total 49 DP World Group terminals in 31 countries. The Dubai-based enterprise, specialising in the operation of container terminals, handled about 46.8 million TEU with nearly 30,000 employees last year.
