Emirates Airline advises first flight connection to Ukraine
New Eastern Europe service of Emirates Airline offers nonstop-connection from Dubai to Kiev from January 16
Emirates Airline is expanding in the Black Sea region and is preparing to service the first destination in Ukraine. On January 16, 2014 the Arab airline will launch a nonstop flight service from the hub in Dubai to Boryspil International Airport in Kiev and return. The daily EK171 flight will take off in Dubai at 5.15 pm, and land at 8.35 pm in the capital of Ukraine. Return flight will leave Kiev every day at 10.10 pm and land in Dubai at 4.55 am the next day (local times).
„Regarding the agricultural industry, heavy engineering, technology and tourism, we see great potential in Ukraine. Kiev is our 35th destination in Europe“, says Hubert Frach, Emirates Divisional Senior Vice President Commercial Operations West.
On the route between Dubai and Kiev Emirates will deploy Airbus A340-500 aircraft, offering three classes and 15 tonnes cargo hold. Export goods include aircraft spare parts, machines for the heavy industry and spare parts for vessels.
