Fellmann to manage Hellmann’s temperature logistics

Markus Fellmann succeeds Klaus Hrazdira as head of the industry solution ‘hpl Hellmann Perishable Logistics‘ for temperature-controlled goods transport with Hellmann Worldwide Logistics
 
As of 1 January 2013 Markus Fellmann will be in charge of the global industry solution ‘hpl Hellmann Perishable Logistics‘ and will report directly to Jost Hellmann. Fellmann has more than 28 years of experience in the transport and logistics industry. Fellmann started his career with Hellmann in 1996 as operation manager. Later on he filled the 
position of branch manager in Los Angeles, before he was appointed country manager in Chile. He will hold his current position as President and Chief Executive Officer of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics in Chile until the end of this year.
 
Klaus Hrazdira, who had been holding the function of Chief Executive Officer of the perishable logistics unit with Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, will return to his previous employer – Quehenberger in Austria. Mr. Hrazdira will nevertheless continue to cooperate intensively with the Hellmann network.
 
“In Markus Fellmann we found an expert with many years of experience in the logistics sector, to fill this important position. We are sure he will be able to continue his success and expand the product hpl globally,“ says Jost Hellmann, managing associate of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics.
 
With more than 600 employees at 51 locations in 21 countries Hellmann Perishable Logistics has forwarded about 600,000 tonnes of temperature-sensitive goods around the globe in 2011, thereby generating sales revenues of more than EUR 200 million. Sea freight accounted for about 80 per cent of the forwarded volume.
