Mitsui O.S.K. Lines office in Vienna celebrates 20 years jubilee

Vienna has “CEE-control centre-status” for the Japanese container shipping company Mitsui O.S.K. Lines
 
The Viennese Mitsui O.S.K. Lines-office celebrates its 20-years-jubilee in 2012. The Japanese container shipping company has been represented by its agent Paul Günther for a long time in Austria. In the early 1990ies the management decided to enter the market under their own name. They founded the branch named MOL (Europe) B. V., Branch Austria.
 
Today this latter named company counts among the established providers of comprehensive liner shipping services, provision of empty container depots in Vienna, Enns and Salzburg. In the course of the restructuring the office in Vienna was – in addition to Austria – charged with control of the activities in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Slovenia one year ago. The nine employees headed by Ms. Claudia Dittrich have since then been serving six countries, responding to quit different customer requirements.
 
In Austria Mitsui O.S.K. Lines is marketing a wide range of liner services. Their core business are Asia-Europe rotations jointly operated with APL, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine, NYK Line und OOCL in the frame of the G6 Alliance. Furthermore their program includes liner services from Northern Europe to the US, West and South Africa.
