Europa appoints new head of IT

Europa Worldwide Group has appointed Chris Mitchell as head of IT.

Mitchell joins the company having previously worked at a major electronic point of sale (EPOS) provider in the hospitality and retail sector as its head of IT.

Mitchell will be responsible for Europa’s IT help desk and infrastructure teams, and will help launch the 3PL’s warehousing and logistics facility in Midlands Logistics Park, Corby, Northants, which is set to open next year.

Mitchell said: “I really like the fact that it is a major player in the logistics sector with profits rising year-on-year”.
