AFS All Freight System Spedition (Innsbruck) uses from now land transport know how of IT specialist active logistics

 

The AFS All Freight forwarding company in Innsbruck has reorganised its transport management. Since recently the enterprise uses for its complete order management in the land transport segment the software „active m-ware“ of active logistics, a provider of complex IT solutions for the transport and logistics industry. The external computing centre handles about 500 orders per day on behalf of the forwarding company. About 80 per cent of the volume is already automated. 20 per cent require manual processing or finishing. For 2013 the AFS management holds out the prospect of outsourcing the application for air and sea freight.

AFS All Freight Systems was founded in May 1994. The group independent enterprise employs around 60 persons at locations in Innsbruck, Wals (Salzburg), Vienna and St. Margrethen in Switzerland. The service range covers the segments air freight, sea freight, national/international consolidated cargo, express transport/parcel dispatch, truck load traffic in Europe, customs clearance as well as warehousing and distribution logistics.
