FedEx on track to investing $200 million in CSR by 2020

FedEx is ahead of its plan for FedEx Cares goal of investing $200 million in more than 200 global communities by 2020 according to the company’s 2019 Global Citizenship Report which focuses on the company’s corporate social responsibility strategies in the areas of company economy, people, and environment.

Key elements of the company’s CSR strategy includes environmental efficiency innovations, a sustainable supply chain, a diverse and inclusive workplace, and the robust giving and volunteering platform known as FedEx Cares.

In the 2018 financial year the company had invested more than $55 million in corporate charitable contributions.

“The annual FedEx Global Citizenship Report outlines our efforts to deliver positive outcomes and reflects the contributions FedEx Express Europe makes,” said FedEx Express Europe president, Bert Nappier.

“As we continue to build Europe’s premier logistics business, this report sets our vision and priorities for corporate social and environmental responsibility, and our progress towards these as we proudly work to deliver positive change in our communities.”
