FedEx Trade Networks now offers three distinct international ocean freight forwarding solutions via its new Ocean Choices portfolio.
The new solutions enable customers to choose and implement the ocean service that best fits their supply chain needs, whether the product demands flexibility or speed-to-market distribution services.
The Ocean Choices portfolio provides customers with three specific solutions to meet varying demands:
- FedEx International Direct Economy Ocean offers traditional freight forwarding services to and from major worldwide locations for products that have a flexible delivery schedule.
- Via distribution centre bypass, FedEx International DirectDistribution Ocean offers speed-to-market ocean shipping solutions to destinations in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico from origins in Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, India and Europe.
- FedEx International Direct Priority Ocean provides reliable ocean delivery solutions for LCL and FCL cargo. This new option, which services the Los Angeles and Long Beach ports from origins in Yantian / Shenzhen, Shanghai and Hong Kong, offers delivery for LCL shipments via FedEx Freight and delivery for FCL shipments via the FedEx Trade Networks preferred carrier portfolio.
