Felbermayr takes over world’s tallest telescopic working platform

Telescopic working platform F-57 TKX makes debut appearance in the company’s location in Linz; Vienna location to receive a second one shortly

Felbermayr Group (Wels) has brought into service the world’s tallest telescopic working platform in mid-August. With a maximum working height of 57 metres, it overtops the hitherto tallest device of its kind by 17 metres. “The boom lift has a full working height of 57 metres and work without stabilizers. They can thus be used in a very flexible and time-efficient way“, explains Robert Bauer, in charge of rental of working platforms and lifts at Felbermayr. The device enables us to reach heights as high as the 20th floor of a skyscraper.

Wolfgang Schellerer, Managing Director of the transportation and hoisting technology department at Felbermayr, was officially handed over this technological masterpiece manufactured by Genie (Terex Aerial Work Platforms). On this occasion, he stated that this device would be used on construction sites all over Europe. He was convinced of the working platform’s importance because of its compact design and its horizontal scope of more than 24 metres.

Felbermayr department in Linz is using the first of the company’s new working platforms. A second one has already been ordered and will be delivered to the company’s location in Vienna shortly. Both of Felbermayr’s telescopic working platforms are referred to as F-57 TKX.
