Felbermayr’s heavy cargo port makes a strenuous effort

294 tonnes-cargo piece travels via Felbermayr’s heavy cargo port in Linz on an inland vessel to Hungary
 
The heavy cargo port of the corporate group Felbermayr in Linz was the scene for an outstanding transhipment on 22 November 2012. For their customer Siemens a 294 tones-generator was loaded to the RoRo heavy cargo vessel “Horst Felix“. The heavy colli came from Germany and is designed for installation in a gas power plant in Hungary.
 
The heavy cargo port in Linz has been an integral part of the service range offered by the Felbermayr corporate group for 16 years. The family company based in Wels provides services in the following sectors: special and heavy transport, mobile crane and working platform hiring as well as building construction and civil engineering. Managing director Horst Felbermayr expects a non-consolidated revenue of more than EUR 400 million for the current year. The Felbermayr corporate group has about 2,500 employees at 58 locations in 15 European countries. The road transport fleet comprises 250 towing vehicles and 300 special carriers.
