Fiege Austria expands with three new clients
Bridgestone, Huntsman and LG Electronics count among Fiege Austria’s customers since the start of this month:
The contract logistics specialist Fiege Austria GmbH is increasing its staff these days. Before the end of this year the team of 45 employees will grow to 60 persons. The reason therefore is an agreement with three new customers from the chemicals, consumer electronics and tyres. “Since the start of November we have handled transnational projects on behalf of Huntsman Advanced Materials, LG Electronics and Bridgestone“, Thomas Michael Peklar, managing director, explains in the interview with the Austrian transport magazine Österreichische Verkehrszeitung.
Fiege Austriawas formed through an outsourcing project of the Austrian branch of the global consumer goods group Unilever in 1997. The company operates a 25,000 m² covered logistics area in Vienna-Simmering. Last year about 125,000 pallets were prepared for dispatch at this site. The services are ranging from warehousing, transport and distribution logistics, completed with value-added services such as packaging, order-picking and labelling.
