Fiege takes over additional tasks for LGE in Central Europe

LG Electronics (LGE) and Fiege group extend their cooperation in Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary

 

The Fiege group, headquartered in Greven (Westphalia) and LG Electronics (LGE) agreed to extend their cooperation in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. The agreement embraces services relating to the existing warehousing and distribution solutions. Fiege’s multi-user warehouse located in Uzice, north of Prague, serves as central hub for the distribution of consumer and industrial goods.

Jongsung Oh, Managing Director at LGE Czech Republic: "With Fiege by our side, we want to supply the best and most agile logistics solution in the Czech and Slovak markets for consumer electronics and home appliances." He names proximity to local markets, high stock availability and a solid distribution infrastructure that can react quickly to volatile demands as the main requirements to logistics.
