First BLG Logistics subsidiary in Croatia

New office of the BLG Logistics Group in the Croation port city of Ploče puts focus on forwarding services on the Balcans region

BLG Logistics (Bremen) has established a new subsidiary in Croatia: BLG Logistika Adriatic d.o.o. offers freight forwarding services in the Balcans market. On February 26, 2014 the company was registered in the public commercial register. By now BLG Logistika Adriatic d.o.o. maintains its own office in Ploče, Croatia.

According to the BLG Logistics Group the port of Ploče has a very good infrastructure and will become one of the most important ports on the Adriatic east coast in future, i.e. as part of the pan-European transport corridor Ploče – Sarajevo – Osijek – Budapest, which will link Central and Eastern Europe to the Adriatic.

Arlene Lovrečič Mikac and David Lorenčič are managing the new company. As managing directors at our subsidiary BLG CarShipping Koper for many years, they are now applying their experience from Slovenia in Croatia as well.

BLG Logistics stands for international networks in the business segments of automotive, contract and container logistics. The corporate group has more than 16,000 emplyoees providing “seaport-oriented logistics on a global scale“.
