Frigologo moves into new logistics hub in Slovenia

Responding to the positive business development in Slovenia of the past years, the owner families Herzog/Erculj have implemented a new building in Komenda, which is 20 kilometres north of the previous downtown location in Ljubljana. On a total surface of 16,500 m² around 4,600 m² of warehouse space (1,500 m² for frozen goods, and the remaining space for fresh goods storage at 4°C), and 1,200 m² of office space were set up.

The new building with state-of-the-art technology at the logistics hub in Slovenia allows to met customer needs even more efficiently and with lasting quality. In addition, this creates capacity for future growth, the management board of Frigologo informs in a letter. The new building shall start operating in early December 2016, thus Christmas business can already be handled in the new, expanded facility.

Founded by Fritz Herzog in 1991, Frigologo is a full-range provider for temperature controlled food logistics, specialising in the +2°C to +8°C and the +12°C to +18°C segment, as well as the -18°C to -25°C segment in Central and Eastern Europe. With locations in Seekirchen, Vienna, Sattledt, Graz, Budapest and Ljubljana, the company offers all the services of a comprehensive logistics network from production to trade. In addition to national and international transport with 220 own units, the portfolio includes customised warehousing services (warehousing, order picking, cross docking and value added services).
