Gefco sets up new logistics platform in Slovakia
Gefco location in Kechnec in eastern Slovakia puts focus on groupage cargo and international liner services
The globally active logistics group Gefco strengthens its network in the region Central and Eastern Europe. In Kechnec in eastern Slovakia a new logistics platform has recently started operation. The 5,800 m² facility offers logistics services for industrial customers. The site shall be established as a hub for international transport. The core activities will be the handling of groupage cargo consignments and control of international liner services. Gefco with its headquarters in Paris has been serving the market in Slovakia since August 2004 with an own national company. Activities, service range and location network are being gradually expanded with regard to the great importance of the automotive industry. The group has currently own locations in Bratislava, Trnava, Zavor, Zilina, Kosice and now also in Kechnec. Quelle: LogEastics |
