Gist’s temp-controlled logistics network awarded BRC Global Standard accreditation

All sites in Gist’s temperature-controlled network have been awarded the BRC Global Standard for food safety certification. 

Gist’s newest site in EuroCentral, Motherwell, North Lanarkshire, is the largest site to receive the accreditation after a recent audit.

The site, part of the company’s temperature-controlled network, manages the warehousing and transportation of chilled and ambient food products from manufacturer to retailer.

Sam Paton, head of Gist’s Scotland sites, said: “This latest accreditation is even more special as it now means that all Gist temperature controlled logistics sites are certified by the BRC Global Standard.”
