Gottschligg: 4 jubilees in one go – and a celebration of a different kind

W. Gottschligg GmbH, specialist for pallet and load carriers gives to itself an environmental sponsorship as a present in the jubilee year 2014

In 2014 the Gottschligg company, the global provider of pallet and load carriers in Brunn am Gebirge near Vienna, has four occasions to celebrate and commemorate: 40th anniversary, 25 years Slovakian subsidiary WIGO, 20 years of service of the authorised officer Roman Mader, and the 10th anniversary of the death of the company founder Franz Michelfeit.

But the company Gottschligg has been „… different for 40 years …“ and also celebrates „different“: in the jubilee year, the company gives itself a generous financial donation as a present – an environmental sponsorship to support the work of Global 2000. The Austrian environmental protection organisation is also „globally“ active with many projects and campaigns, and has been educating communities for decades on environmental issues such as varieties, nuclear power, TTIP (Transatlantic Free Trade Agreement), genetic engineering and climate protection.

Mag Andrea Michelfeit, managing director Gottschligg: „My staff and I decided to do this because the Gottschligg company with additional offices in Russia and India is also a global company and we want to promote the global activities of Global 2000“. For her „sustainability“ means not just performance of duty, but active responsibility as an integral part of the company policy. Corporate environmental management was implemented consistently since 1997. Ranging from light only when required, to insulation and waste separation, ecological power, and weely organic food boxes for the employees, they were living the social responsibility successfully in the enterprise.

Since 1974 Gottschligg based in Brunn am Gebirge develops, manufactures and markets load carriers made from metal, wood and plastic. The owner-managed family company operates internationally, with a focus on Germany, India and Russia.
