Greatview to exhibit at Anuga FoodTec 2012
Greatview Aseptic Packaging confirms its presence during this year’s Anuga FoodTec from March 27th to 30th in Cologne, Germany. The second largest global provider of roll-fed aseptic packaging material follows a dedicated strategy of growing international markets. The participation at the world’s most important trade fair for the food and beverage industry marks an important opportunity to present the company and its new aseptic packaging production facility in Germany, which is scheduled to open in 2012.

The company has already established its footprint as the number one alternative supplier in China, the world’s largest and fastest growing market for aseptic packaging. Following its international growth strategy, the company decided to expand to Europe in 2011. The participation at the world’s most important trade fair for the food and beverage industry marks the company’s continued commitment to the European market after last year saw the start of construction works on Greatview’s first international packaging production facility in Halle (Saale), Germany. “The Anuga FoodTec 2012 will be a great opportunity for us to introduce ourselves and present our new aseptic packaging production facility to a broad global audience,” said Hong Gang, Chairman of Greatview.
The opening of Greatview’s first international aseptic packaging production facility in Halle (Saale), Germany is planned to take place later this year. The company first started trading in Europe in 2008 under the name TralinPak. After the good results of the past several years and the successful initial public offer in 2010, Greatview decided to expand its international business. Having already established a foothold in Europe, Greatview settled on Germany for its first international production facility. Halle (Saale) in particular was chosen for its optimal mix of competitive location factors, as Hong Gang explained: “The production site offers excellent railroad connections and motorway access and is located conveniently close to Leipzig airport. Also, a great number of professionals live in the area. Overall, Halle (Saale) is the ideal location for us to expand our business in Europe, the Middle East and Russia”.
Greatview’s booth at the Anuga FoodTec 2012 in Cologne, Germany will be in Hall 6, D070 E077. The company will present its new production facility in Halle (Saale) and unveil details to current and new customers.
