Ground-breaking ceremony for Temmel’s logistics centre in Lannach

TCL Temmel Logistik and Unger Steel Group to build a 7,400 m² logistics centre for the automotive supplier Magna Powertrain in Lannach

TLC Temmel Logistik and Unger Steel Group as a general contractor for the implementation are launching a new major project. The 7,400 m² logistics centre of TLC Temmel Logistik in Lannach shall be turnkey ready within a construction period of four months. The object shall be inaugurated in December 2014, the multi-storey administrative building shall start operation by February 2015.

Following the planning stage, it is now the construction stage of the four-months project that starts. From early 2015 the new logistics centre in Lannach will be used for goods receipt logitics, storage and shipping of the neighbouring Magna Powertrain (MPT) – a globally leading supplier of the automotive industry – for the operating sites in Ilz, Albersdorf and Lannach. Thus three major companies and industry leader – Unger, TLC and MPT – are joining again to create the basis for future success within a record time.

Temmel Logistik Center in Graz, Austria, is a service provider for the automotive industry. Established in 1996 the private company has many years of experience and competence in the following segments: just-in-sequence, just-in-time, EDI data transmission, picking, quality control, assembly, warehouse management and supply of the assembly line. They operate their won branches in Austria in Graz and Ilz.
