Hellmann UK secures Air New Zealand agreement
Hellmann Worldwide Logistics UK has announced that it has secured a guaranteed capacity agreement with Air New Zealand for service to Auckland, New Zealand. The contract will allow Hellmann Worldwide to further increase its logistics and freight forwarding services within the Australiasian region.
The agreement allocates Hellmann a primetime service on a Saturday. The capacity agreement means that customers, who have placed orders on Friday, can now benefit from a next working day delivery option.
Having secured such an allocation, the agreement represents a considerable achievement for Hellmann. Matthew Marriot, Commercial Director at Hellmann UK, commented that the agreement provides the company with the means to meet the increasing UK demand for express airfreight services to New Zealand.
"Establishing such a prestigious capacity agreement represents our commitment to continually look to expand the scope of our freight forwarding services, whilst offering customers exceptional levels of service. We noticed that there was a demand in the UK for this service and after working closely with Air New Zealand, we’ve managed to see the fruits of our labour" said Marriot.
The contract has been signed until March 31, 2012.
